Volunteer at Esbjerg WAVE
Do you want to support the LGBT+ community in Esbjerg and the surrounding area?
Esbjerg WAVE is always looking for volunteers and there is definitely a role that suits you. Whether you are LGBT+ yourself or just want to lend a helping hand, you are more than welcome!
We are looking for help both for the big PRIDE event in July and the social SPEQTRUM, which holds smaller events throughout the year.
What can I help with?
There are many ways to volunteer, which you can read more about below. You may also have some ideas of what you would like to help with.
It takes a lot of hands to put on an event like PRIDE. As volunteer, you can help out before, during and after PRIDE with planning, communicating with artists, event responsible during the event, decorating the venue, clean-up during and after the event.
How do I volunteer?
Organising of volunteers takes place in this Facebook group. Apply for an invite and answer the three intro questions.When you get access to the group you can see which current tasks you can volunteer for in addition to the example mentioned above.
You are also welcome to introduce yourself or reach out to one of the group admins. We would like the group to be an open forum where we all brainstorm help each other in creating a good LGBT+ community in the Esbjerg municipality.
